To conjugate a verb we need to use a root plus personal pronoun(s). The latter have two set of forms.

The ones you want to use independently or in front of the verbs, and those you want to use after the

conjugated verb. The second set is always needed whereas you can delete the first set.

First set of personal Second set of personal
Pronouns (Frontal) Pronouns (Anterior) Who? Notes

  Man- -am I
To- -i You  (2nd person singular)
U- -ad S/He-It  (No gender considerations)
  Maa- -im We
Shomaa- -id You (2nd person plural)
  Aanhaa- (or) Ishaan- -and They

      Present tense:

Your choice of the “verb-root” determines the tense of the action required.

The first set of roots is used to make the present tense:

Frontal pronoun + Mi + Root 1 + Anterior pronoun = Present tense

(Man) mi aa (y) am I come / I am coming (Note the liaison between two “a”s)
(To) Mi aa i You come / You are coming
  (U) mi aa (y) ad He/She/It comes – is coming (Note the liaison between two “a”s)
(Maa) mi aa im We come / We are coming
(Shomaa) mi aa id You come / You are coming (Plural)
(Ishaan) mi aa (y) and They come / They are coming

      Past tense:

The first set of roots is used to make the present tense:

Frontal pronoun + Root 2 + Anterior pronoun = Present tense

  (Man) aamad am I came
(To) aamad I You came (singular)
  (U) aamad sh/she/it came Notice the absence of anterior pronoun
  (Maa) aamad im We came
(Shomaa) aamad id You came (plural)
  (Ishaan) aamad and They came
